Nivard Somers, PhD, is a Counselor at Riverside City College who brings a deep passion for student support and guidance. Beginning his own educational journey at a community college, Somers understands firsthand the transformative power of accessible higher education. He earned his doctoral degree from California State University, Fullerton, and applies his experience to help students navigate their academic paths with confidence.
