This year we are excited to announce that Welcome Day is being revamped to be a festive and fun-filled event that welcomes our students and their families to the RCC campus and community. Students will be able to leisurely explore campus, get any last-minute questions answered, meet members of the Tiger community, and network and meet other incoming Tigers. Our goal is to have them confident and ready for their first day of class and beyond.

Welcome Day kicks off from 10 am - Noon on Saturday, August 22, 2026.

What You Can Experience

Spend the morning exploring campus and taking advantage of the many resources available to help you prepare for the semester.

Quad (10 am – Noon)

• Visit the Counseling, Financial Aid, and Admissions & Records tables.
• Take a self-guided campus tour hosted by Outreach.
• Meet the new ASRCC and Student Trustee leadership teams.
• Meet Student Services team members.
• Scholarship and prize drawings.

Scholarship Drawing

Complete each of the following by Friday, August 21, 2026, to receive an automatic entry into the Welcome Day scholarship drawing:

• Submit your application, including any residency requirements.
• Complete your Financial Aid application (FAFSA or CADAA), including all required verification documents.
• Complete your Student Educational Plan.
• Complete New Student Orientation in your RCC Portal.
• Register for at least six units.
• Obtain your Riverside City College student ID.
