AANHPI Heritage Month Doodle Contest

Attention all students! We are officially accepting designs for the AANHPI Heritage Month Tiger Doodle.

  • Deadline: Friday, April 3, 2026
  • Format: Submissions must be a 1:1 ratio (digital) or 8" x 8" (physical).
  • How to Submit:
    • Digital: All participants must complete the Digital Submission Form.
    • Physical (Optional): You may also drop off your physical artwork in Art 103 or at the Charles A. Kane (CAK) Information Desk; Please note, the digital form is still required!

Tiger Doodles invites students, faculty, and staff to reinterpret RCC’s Lamp of Learning logo to celebrate heritage months and cultural traditions across campus.

How to Participate View Past Designs

What are Tiger Doodles? 

Tiger Doodles began two years ago as a way for the RCC community to creatively reinterpret the Lamp of Learning logo. Each design reflects the spirit of heritage months and cultural celebrations while highlighting the creativity of RCC students and employees.

  • Pride Month
  • LGBTQIA2+ History Month 
  • Juneteenth
  • Black History Month
  • Native American Heritage Month
  • AANHPI Heritage Month

The Idea Behind the Project

The Lamp of Learning represents knowledge, growth, and opportunity at Riverside City College. Tiger Doodles invites our community to reinterpret this symbol through the lens of culture, identity, and celebration.

Tiger Doodles celebrate important cultural and heritage moments throughout the academic year.

How to Participate

Please note that at this time, we are only accepting submissions for AANHPI Month

  1. Create your Tiger Doodle
    • Unleash your creativity! We invite you to design a unique interpretation of the RCC Lamp of Learning. Whether it’s through digital art, painting, or sketching, show us what the Tiger spirit means to you.
  2. Prepare Your Format - To ensure your design fits our digital and physical displays, please follow these specifications:
    • Digital Submissions: Files must be a 1:1 (square) ratio.
    • Physical Submissions: Artwork must be 8" x 8".
  3. Submit Your Design - All participants must complete the digital entry form to be considered.
  4. Step 1: Complete the Digital Submission Form.
  5. Step 2 (If applicable): If you created a physical piece, you may drop it off in Art 103 or the Charles A. Kane (CAK) Information Desk.
